Origins Centre (Johannesburg) public lecture

For anyone in or around Joburg this week the Wits Origins Centre will host an interesting public lecture on the environmental and biological features that made us humans when our genus (Homo) first appeared in Africa more than 2.5 millions of years ago.

The talk will include viewing some of the original fossil specimens from the important archaeological site of Kromdraai, part of the Cradle of Humankind complex .
